After years of painting, I am still enchanted with snow scenes. The distinct contrast between the white paper and winter's gorgeous earth tones is enough to make any heart dance. Also, it's not always what's put into a snow scene that makes it work, but rather what is left out. In "Grey Birch and Hemlock", I left out my footprints. G. Webb
